M Phase

The M Phase is in reality the shortest part of the cell cycle, but it seems that the bulk of the important happenings occur during this phase. The M Phase is actually divided again into two other phases: Mitosis and Cytokinesis. In the M Phase the cell takes the replicated DNA and organelles from Interphase and splits into two genetically identical daughter cells. Now that you know that, carry on to the first part, Mitosis, and then onward to Cytokinesis.
